Potential Schedule for Jewce FM:


I created this potential schedule for my radio station so my audience can see when the preferable time to tune in to suite there needs. The reason why there are no shows half way through Friday and all of Saturday is because a Jewish radio station will not have presenters working on 'shabbat' which is a religious  weekend where technology isn't used by observers therefore there will be no radio shows on those particular days. This is a decision I made because I have chosen to make my radio station Jewish themed.

This schedule states the different shows which will appear throughout the day on Monday. For example at 7 am Andrew Pierce will be presenting the Breakfast Show:


Typical conventions of a breakfast show is

This is why I have chosen my radio extract to be part of Jewce FM's Breakfast Show.

Potential Products To Be Advertised:

The following is a list of potential products I think will be suitable to advertise on Jewce FM which fits the criteria of my local radio stations target audience.

1: Event Planner:

I think an event planner will be an applicable advert to use on my radio station the reason being is many people in the Jewish community have events such as Bar/Bat Mitzvah - weddings ect. The advert is suitable young adults ranging to middle aged adults as well as the older generation.



2: Kosher Supermarket

A Kosher supermarket advert's target audience is for young adults plus because required food requirements are popular in the community Jewce FM will be based on.

3: Jewish/other Charities

A charity advert would interest a wide range of people male and female. Jewish people are more inclined to give charity to a Jewish organisation such as

4: Car 

Jewish people tend to have larger families therefore a car advert which advertises large family sized cars would target young adults who are expanding their families.

5: Jewish Studies Extra Curriculum Tutor 

A tutoring business's target audience would be teenagers and children who want to learn more about their religion.



Three Advert:




This advert's target audience is aimed for students travelling abroad as well as adults travelling abroad. The sound effects compliment the advert because it emphasises the use of a phone abroad which is taking pictures and sharing them through social media. The advert uses informal language "hash tag" which is aimed for a younger audience.

BT 8500 Home Phone Advert:





The BT 8500 home phone which blocks nuisance callers radio advert is aimed for an older target audience. The reason being is house phones are popular amongst older people. The main voice is an middle aged woman who states activities an older woman would do such as watch soaps. At the end of the advert a middle aged man speaks about the important information in a serious tone which is applicable to an older audience. The logo BT is stated many times throughout the radio advert in order for the brand name to penetrate the audiences mind.

Currys and PC World Advert:






Curry's and PC World advert is a service to install a washing machine as well as recycle the broken/unused machine. The advert is meant for parents and the older generation as well as young family starters. The tone of the advert is reassuring with some comedy aspects. The target audiences varies.

Car Giant Advert:





Car Giant advert's target audience is aimed for a young/middle aged audience. The different accents as well as aged actors emphasises the advert is specified for all different kinds of people wanting to buy a car. The radio advert is upbeat and has a happy tone. There is an upbeat music track in the background.

Race For Life Advert:





Race For Life's radio advert - Pretty Muddy race  is aimed for woman of all ages to participate in running to raise money and awareness of cancer. The actor throughout the advert was a young woman who included some jokey lines. The halo/ heaven/ superhero music is upbeat which matches the theme of the advert.
